Unable to Create New PDF Port or Printer while installing Adobe Acrobat

Error: Error Warning 20225

Cause: The error may occur if the Printer spooler is not running or is not set to Automatic.

Solution: Click ‘Start’, click ‘Control Panel’. Double-click ‘Administrative Tools’. Double-click ‘Services’. In the right pane, select ‘Print Spooler’. From ‘Action’ menu, click ‘Properties’. From ‘Startup type’ drop-down list, select ‘Automatic’. Click ‘Apply’ button. Click ‘OK’.

Details: Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard enables you to create and share PDF documents. It also provides various options for printing. The print spoolers has to enabled before printing. The print spooler loads files to memory for printing them later. If the service is disabled then you may encounter errors while printing. At times while creating a new PDF port you receive an error.
To resolve the error:

1) Click ‘Start’ and click ‘Control Panel’. (The ‘Control Panel’ window appears.)

2) Double-click ‘Administrative Tools’. (The ‘Administrative Tools’ window appears.)

3) Double-click ‘Services’. (The ‘Services’ window appears.)

4) In the right pane, select ‘Print Spooler’.

5) From the ‘Action’ menu, click ‘Properties’. (The ‘Print Spooler Properties (Local Computer)’ dialog box appears.)

6) From the ‘Startup type’ drop-down list, select ‘Automatic’.

7) Click the ‘Apply’ button.

Click ‘OK’.
